Adaptiv Yoga Nordic exists to make yoga, mindfulness, and rest accessible by adapting the practice to people, not the other way around.
Our Core Values
Encouragement
So you feel supported to begin or continue your own yoga journey, wherever it may lead.
Honesty
Being transparent about my abilities, limitations, and lived experience as a teacher.
Positivity
Celebrating the uniqueness of every body, mind, and way of being.
Respect for difference
Meeting people as they are, with choice, flexibility and care.
Whether you come to practice, learn, or explore, Adaptiv Yoga Nordic is a space to feel seen, supported, and inspired.
We believe yoga can be a place of belonging where difference is expected, adaptation is the norm and there is no single way to move, rest or be.

Founder story
Yoga is for every body and every mind.
I’m Linn-Kristin Goldsmith, founder of Adaptiv Yoga Nordic.
I grew up in Norway, but London captured my heart early on. A city that later became my home for 15 years. In 2024, I felt the pull back to my roots and returned to Norway with my family, bringing with me a clear intention: to share yoga in a way that truly meets people where they are.
Yoga has been part of my life for over 12 years. What began as a grounding practice among friends helping me navigate the fast pace of life in London, gradually became my passion and purpose. Over time, yoga revealed itself as a powerful tool for calm, confidence, connection, and regulation.
I completed a 350+ hour Hatha-style Yoga Teacher Training at Triyoga in London, a rigorous two-year program guided by Tony Watson and Anna Ashby. This training is fully recognised and accredited by the British Wheel of Yoga, Yoga Alliance Professionals (UK), and Yoga Alliance USA. In 2021, I also completed a five-month Special Yoga training, deepening my understanding of adaptive and accessible practice.
Alongside my yoga education, I hold a BSc (Honours) in Psychology and have over ten years of experience working with people with disabilities and additional support needs. This combination allows me to bring both knowledge and care into my teaching creating yoga experiences that honour people physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Yoga philosophy continues to shape how I understand myself, others, and the world. The teachings invite me to explore how our human experience reaches far beyond the physical body alone. At times, these ancient traditions can feel complex and challenging to integrate into modern life and I meet that with patience, curiosity, and respect.
I consider myself a lifelong student. I share only what I am actively learning and living, and I hold deep gratitude for the teachers and lineages that inform my work. Some of the teachers who continue to inspire my practice and teaching include Tony Watson, Anna Ashby, Daniel Simpson, Tara Brach, and Jyoti Jo Manuel.
Adaptiv Yoga Nordic was created as a reflection of these values; a space rooted in gentleness, inclusion, and the belief that yoga should adapt to people, not the other way around.
Through years of teaching, studying, and listening, Linn-Kristin saw how often yoga spaces unintentionally exclude through pace, language, expectations, and unspoken norms. Rather than asking people to fit the practice, she chose to adapt the practice to the person.
Her work is shaped by lived experience, professional training, and a deep interest in the nervous system, regulation, and relational safety. She believes that yoga can be a supportive and empowering tool when it is offered with humility, flexibility, and respect for difference.
